Marie Egyed, the visionary founder and owner of Assist Move, boasts over 25 years of unparalleled expertise in the senior housing industry. With a wealth of experience spanning multiple roles, including working with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care communities, Marie has solidified her reputation as a trusted authority in the field.

 

Her decades-long dedication to working directly with seniors and their families has equipped her with an intimate understanding of their unique needs and challenges, making her an invaluable resource for clients seeking a seamless transition into care facilities.

 

Marie's proven track record of successfully managing multiple business ventures, coupled with her unwavering commitment to providing highly personalized services, ensures that every client receives the highest level of care and support throughout their journey.

 

A native of Houston who spent most of her childhood in East Texas, Marie returned to the city after high school to embark on a fulfilling career in the senior industry. Starting at age 19 at Houston's inaugural retirement community, Marie quickly discovered her passion for working with seniors. Later in life, at 50, she and her husband made a significant move from Sugar Land to a serene ranchette in rural Grimes County. Marie finds joy in outdoor activities with her husband, caring for her garden and wildflowers, and playing with her two beloved rescue dogs. Beyond her professional endeavors, Marie actively contributes to charitable causes, particularly those supporting children's cancer research and animal welfare. She also plays an integral role in a car club, serving as the Managing Director of their monthly news magazine and lending a hand at major events as needed.
